The Losers is a production of the team's first improvisation sessions at the Faculty of Fine Arts. Theatrically written and directed by Shady el Dali. The aim of The Losers experience was to produce a contemporary show discussing new and honest ideas from our everyday life instead of using a pre-written text.
The show took part in the annual Grand Theatre Festival in Helwan University and was awarded first place.
It was performed on various theatres; Hanager, Sayed Darwish, Jesuites, El Sawy Culture Wheel and Rawabet and has a great fan base.

In 2011, the troupe produced "The Dolphins' Musical". Written by Khaled El Sawi and directed by Shady el Dali. It got awarded first place in the Helwan University Grand Theatre Festival for the second year in a row.
The play introduced a live band playing on stage alongside the actors which was a first in the festival.

To lose the will to live is not funny at all.
To dream big and revolt to achieve your dream but then it turns into a nightmare before your eyes. To lose your will to live and declare on stage that you want to commit suicide!  That is not funny at all.
Cairo – a year after the glorious January revolution, Atelier el Masrah troupe presents a production of the troupe's improvisations, Endless Laughter; a black comedy about the painful reality and dreams of change, revolution and fear of the future. Collaboratively written by the cast members and the director, Shady el Dali.
In 2012, the troupe won first prize for the third year in a row for "Endless Laughter" in the Helwan University Grand Theatre Festival. It also won the theatre prize in the first Independent Arts Season in Hanager Theatre.

Made in China – adapted from Brecht’s The Whitewashers’ Congress - tells the story of the tyrant emperor of China who isn’t capable of running the empire which leads to severe economic crisis and thus he holds a conference for the wise men in China to solve the problem and the prize to be his daughter’s hand in marriage.

The show won several awards in Helwan University’s Grand Theatre Contest in 2013; the prize for best show, best director, best actor and actress in the contest, best costumes and props, best set design (second place) and finally best music score (second place).

is considered the fourth experimental performance of the director, writer and actors coach: Shady El Dali with Young Theatre Atelier which was formed in 2010 and together they made: The Losers, Endless Laughter and Not Yet with the same work method that’s considered pioneer and unorthodox in Egypt. A theatre workshop was held for two month in preparation of “A Plastic Dream”, which premiered in “Heimathafen Neukölln” in Berlin (June 2013) which was a great success as – based on the German audience and press reviews – it didn’t only discuss the troubles of Egyptian society but it exceeded that by discussing

the troubles of the modern human being all over the world

with his fears and disappointments in a comedic outline.
